Just started drawing to understand how the shapes of these objects work and what causes difficulties in bringing clarity. So far I think the raincoat could be more simplified. as well as umbrella lacks of 'manly' appearance.. I'm still looking for my art direction as well.

ReplyDeletegreat studies, the coat and the umbrella combined brings to mind a combination of Fantasia with the marching broomstick character and Sleeping Beauty in the scene where Briar Rose dances with the animals who have stolen the princes cape, hat and boots (Once Upon a Dream).
really, good, I was thinking I need to watch something to use as my references, I'll be checking that out :)
