1 Idea: To make a room where all the furniture is covered under white sheets.
I thought it definetly gives the uncanny feeling. Strnage, especially in the late evening and lights coming only from outside. The room should be spacious with a lot of different shape furniture. It also could work with my previous Idea eith the concert hall and the piano. this could be that 'room'.
2. I thought about a bathroom which in no ways is warm, tidy and light.
I think the first idea is the best one. And I'll just start placing things :)
i like the first idea too... it has an uncanny feel to it.
ReplyDeleteEvening Jolanta...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading what you made of today's film - it's not an easy watch, and it's whole intention is to make the audience feel uncomfortable, but it manages some truly memorable moments - for me, it's that final lingering look at her image as a child (children are uncanny too, somehow!).
Regarding your idea - the sheeted objects concept has lots of potential; have you seen Alejandro Amenábar's The Others? A masterful re-working of classic 'old dark house' themes, as seen in The Haunting and The Innocents (check this out too if you have time). Here's the trailer
