Edgar Degas and His Balet

Edgar Degas (1834 – 1917) – French impressionist famous mostly for his paintings, and drawings of ballerinas and race horses.
His works are best described as stills of captured moments of movement. His works are intelligent. Although he uses contradicting colours, contours, ruff textures , works appear soft and blurry –peaceful.

For me its hard to imagine a splashy- squashy animation in this style of design but it would definitely add specific taste to it.

  1. The colour palette in the top right image is so sumptuous!
