I love the stylisation in that top right drawing - beautiful! I was thinking that you could make the lining of your umbrella a very jazzy colour - so that he appears sombre and black and sensible, but when he gets 'excited' we suddenly see this amazing flash of colour - like the lining inside a magician's cape...
yes, i think this is a good idea. I was beginning to thing about two designs for the umbrella, like the peacock is like a whole onother bird when he closes his fethers, as well as the bird in the mating dance, when all of a sudden he shows bright blues on him
